A tall, upward-growing pothos trained to a support pole creates an elegant column of glossy green leaves-an ideal houseplant gift for a birthday, graduation, housewarming, or a gentle get well or sympathy gesture. The slim, vertical silhouette feels polished yet relaxed, and the woven basket gives the piece a ready-to-give presentation that suits homes and offices across Gainesville, FL.
This Pothos (Epipremnum aureum) features heart-shaped, subtly variegated leaves trained to climb a central support pole and presented in a round woven basket that adds natural texture. The green foliage and white bow keep the palette calm and versatile; the plant's lifespan and low-maintenance nature make it a lasting thank-you, thinking-of-you, or just-because gift. Care is simple-water every one to two weeks, allowing the soil to dry between waterings, and keep out of direct, harsh sun to avoid yellowing leaves. The finished size and basket make it easy to place on a floor beside a sofa or in an office corner for seasonal moments like spring and summer, anniversaries, or year-round occasions.

I wanted something very special as a dorm-warming gift for my granddaughter who is just starting her first year at the University of Florida. Her major is Environmental Science and she loves all things nature related. Also important to me was sending a plant that she can propagate from cuttings. The wonderful folks at The Plant Shoppe came through with flying colors - even incorporating Addy's love of ladybugs into the presentation. I highly recommend The Plant Shoppe!!
